Support

A project is a customer order or internal job. It's made of one or more beds — each bed is one print run: a printer, up to four material slots, print time, and grams used. A project moves through Planning, RFQ, Scheduled, In-Progress, Ready, and Completed, with On-Hold and Cancelled as side branches. Moving a job to Ready consumes its material from stock automatically.

A quote adds up machine time (hours × the printer's hourly rate), material (grams × sell price, falling back to cost if no sell price is set), labor, hardware, and electricity, then applies your margin, waste, and any rush or setup fees. Exclude a bed entirely with the exclude toggle, or hide it from the customer-facing quote while still counting it in your totals.

Materials track cost and sell price per gram plus current stock, with a low-stock warning once you set a threshold. Inventory covers everything else you keep on hand — hardware, spare parts, consumables — with per-item stock levels and a purchase list for what to buy next.

Settings → Export writes a single JSON file with your printers, materials, projects, customers, folders, transactions, and inventory. Import reads it back in, matching records by id so cross-references survive the round trip. Exports can include embedded files, so a project-heavy workshop's export file may be large.

A project is the job — usually one customer order. A bed is one print run inside that job. Most projects have just one bed; a multi-part order might have several.

Excluding a bed drops it from both your totals and the customer-facing quote — use it for a run you're not billing for. Hiding keeps it in your totals but off the printed quote — use it when you don't want a customer to see a specific line item.

If a material has no sell price per gram set, quoting falls back to its cost per gram so the number is never blank. Set a sell price on the material to price it separately from cost.

Admins have full access, including pricing, settings, and team management. Operators get a configurable subset — for example, an operator might be limited to their assigned projects, or unable to see pricing. An admin sets this per person from Team.

An export embeds project files — images, model files — directly in the JSON. A workshop with many attached files will produce a correspondingly large file. That's expected.

Your data lives in Kraftius's database, not just your browser. Use Settings → Export periodically if you also want your own local copy.
